Everyday use

Brushing, children, and using Herbodent day to day.

Most people use toothpaste to clean their teeth, freshen their breath, and maintain oral hygiene. Those benefits matter — but we believe a toothpaste should do much more than just clean.

Since we use toothpaste every day, it should help protect, nourish, and strengthen our teeth and gums over time. That is the philosophy behind Herbodent. Along with keeping your teeth clean, fresh, and naturally bright, Herbodent is formulated to support stronger teeth, healthier gums, and overall oral wellness.

At Herbodent, oral care is not just about cleaning — it is about complete care and long-term protection for your smile.

Herbodent offers complete oral care: it helps clean teeth, freshen breath, support healthy gums, and maintain strong teeth. Unlike ordinary toothpastes that focus only on cleaning, Herbodent is designed to protect, care for, nourish, and strengthen your teeth and gums, helping you maintain better oral health every day.

Dentists generally recommend brushing twice daily, for two minutes each time.

Yes. Every Herbodent toothpaste is formulated with care and made to the applicable manufacturing standards, so it is safe for daily use.

Yes, when used as directed. Children under 6 should use a pea-sized amount under adult supervision, to minimise swallowing.

Accidentally swallowing a small amount of Herbodent toothpaste while brushing is generally not a cause for concern. Toothpaste is intended for brushing, though, and should not be swallowed.

If a large amount is swallowed, or you experience any discomfort, seek medical advice. Children should always brush under adult supervision and use only the recommended amount.

Yes. Herbodent is safe to use with braces, crowns, fillings, and other dental work. If you have specific dental concerns or have had a recent procedure, we recommend checking with your dentist for personalised guidance.

What's inside

Ingredients, what we leave out, and how it's made.

No. Every Herbodent variant is formulated without fluoride and without parabens.

Sodium Lauryl Sulphate is a widely used and globally accepted ingredient in oral care, where it creates the foaming action many people associate with effective brushing.

Different people have different preferences. Some of our toothpastes contain SLS for a rich foaming experience, and we also offer SLS-free alternatives for those who prefer them: Herbodent Natural, Diabetic, Sea Moss, and Black Elderberry.

We offer sugar-free options for those who prefer them — Herbodent Natural and Herbodent Diabetic.

The natural ingredients vary by product, as each formulation is designed for a specific oral care need. For complete transparency, every product page carries a full list of active and inactive ingredients along with what each one does.

Absolutely not. We care deeply about animal welfare and are proud to be a cruelty-free brand.

The complete-care approach. Herbodent doesn't just cleanse and freshen — it helps protect, care for, nourish, and strengthen your teeth and gums every day, supporting long-term oral wellness and a healthier smile.

Oral health

Cavities, plaque, sensitivity, and healthy gums.

Cavities form when bacteria in the mouth feed on sugars and starches from food and produce acids that gradually weaken tooth enamel. Poor oral hygiene lets bacteria and food particles build up, increasing the risk.

Herbodent uses herbs and ingredients that have been relied on to protect teeth for generations. Their natural antiseptic properties support good oral hygiene by cleaning the teeth effectively and helping remove food particles and plaque build-up.

Brushing regularly with Herbodent, alongside good oral care habits, helps maintain a cleaner mouth and supports the prevention of cavities and other common oral health concerns.

The best way is to brush twice a day using the correct technique, and to floss daily.

We'd also recommend Herbodent Neem 7-in-1, Charcoal, or Sea Moss. Their selected ingredients help clean teeth effectively, remove plaque build-up, and support healthier teeth and gums. Used regularly as part of a good routine, they help keep your mouth cleaner and your smile healthier.

Bleeding gums are often a sign of irritation or inflammation, usually caused by plaque and food particles accumulating along the gum line. Good oral hygiene — regular brushing and proper gum care — helps keep gums healthy. If the bleeding persists or becomes severe, consult your dentist.

Sensitivity happens when the protective layer of your teeth thins, or when gums recede and expose the sensitive part underneath. Teeth then react to hot or cold drinks, sweet foods, or even cold air with a short, sharp discomfort.

We'd suggest Herbodent Sensitive, which is specially designed for sensitive teeth and gums.

Bad breath can persist if bacteria, food particles, or plaque remain on the tongue, between the teeth, or along the gum line. Dry mouth, certain foods, and gum problems can also contribute. Brushing twice daily, cleaning your tongue, and maintaining good oral hygiene all help.

Herbodent Premium is a good choice here — it carries the benefits of natural herbs with a mouthwash-like freshness. Herbodent Neem 7-in-1 is another option, giving excellent cleaning with all-day freshness.

Absolutely. We'd suggest Herbodent Neem 7-in-1 or Herbodent Charcoal for their cleaning power.

Yes. Your oral health is closely connected to your general health. Poor oral hygiene can lead to plaque build-up, cavities, and gum problems, which may affect your overall wellbeing. Good oral care habits support both a healthy mouth and a healthy body.
